Last week I lost one of my part time jobs inwhich I was working for a local insurance agent doing phone calls for him. He said it wasn't me but just a bad time of the year etc for calling since no one is home. I can understand that, but what makes it hard is now my family is short $300 for this month for bills. So please pray that some how the money stretches for these bills. I also interviewed for a job a couple of weeks ago for the director of babysitting for the new Gold's Gym that is opening in my area... I am a member of the one acrossed town and my friend, Shane, who is also a trainer there has told me many times that I have some kind of a job at the new gym... Adam, the new manager, told me he would call me this week about the job... well here it is Friday and well needless to say I am stressed and worried and trying to figure out what is going on... should I call him, etc... I really need to feel peace and calm right now. I can't sleep right now because of everything that is going on and it is really starting to effect my weight loss... I haven't truely felt relaxed in the last month... I keep praying for God to take away the worry and the stress and to help me feel peace... but those stupid bad thoughts keep coming back... Thanks everyone, Shannon

Hey Sweetie, You are under a ton of pressure right now. Try to do some relaxation breathing, slowly, in and out to the count of six. I will be praying for your job situation, and the money situation. Is there a food bank near you, that could help with the grocery bills for a little while? I know my church has one. Prayer and hugs. Love, Trish

Well God doesn't always take the strss away because we need it to grow and learn but I guarantee you He will get you thru it if you ask for the strength and calm. I may be old school but back in the "dinosaur days" it was concidered good form to write a short thank you note to a prospective employer thanking him for the opportunity to interview. So maybe something like that or I see no problem with calling to ask if the positions hads been filled yet, some employers like to know the person is interested enough to check back. Either way I'll pray God will provide for your needs.

Hi, Shannon. This is my prayer for you today: "Heavenly Father, I bring Shannon to Your throne of grace. Father, You know her needs, for a job, for money to pay her bills, and for peace. Lord, in Your Word You promised "to supply all our needs, according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus." I pray that Shannon will trust You, no matter what, laying claim to Your promise of provision so that it can come to her. Father, I praise You that Your provision is not tied to a paycheck. You can provide for Shannon in a multitude of ways. You're so precious like that! Finally, Jehovah-Jireh (the God Who Provides), I pray that Your ministering angels will come to Shannon and surround her with Your love and peace. May she sense our prayers, and may she know in her spirit that You WILL provide for all her needs, in Your perfect time. In the time between the asking and the receiving, Father, may Shannon trust in You, for You have promised never to leave her nor forsake her. I pray in the Name of Your Son, Jesus, who even now is at Your Right Hand, interceding for Shannon. Amen." Blessings, Mary
