Home from Peru and Celebrating

I got home from the ten day medical mission trip to Peru yesterday. I lost four pounds and have some late developing intestinal distress today. I went to the doctor this morning and he says that this is usual even trying your best avoiding things. It was a wonderful experience and when I feel better I will share some really cool Divine Appointments that God provided for us. I finished the semester completing all my work for my BSN from the University of North Alabama. Yippee! Today DH and I celebrate 36 wonderful years of marriage. I am truly blessed being married to this man. I have so much to be grateful for!!!

Yes, I am truly blessed and I know it is only through my weakness and self-doubt that God displays His strength in me. My husband gave me a graduation card on my return from Peru and I share what it said...."The future doesn't lie ahead of you, waiting to happen -- it lies deep inside of you, waiting to be discovered." This says nothing about age, sex, money.....it talks about the desire of heart. I can honestly say that I desire nothing more than to be God's servant and share Christ with others.
