***Friday Prayer and Gratitude***
I have missed Kat's posts about prayer and thankfulness, so I am going to attempt to keep that going.
I am praying today for my daughter and her family as they prepare to drive 12 hours with a one year old to visit us in PA for a few weeks. They will be staying at her father's house. I am also praying for more growth and strength in understanding and comprehending God's awesome grace and love toward me. I have trouble forgiving myself for things, but know that God has forgiven me, so who am I not to forgive myself.
Today I am thankful for my health, and my sobriety. I had a rough winter with a relapse, and jeopardized my health with some drinking. I am grateful that I am not drinking anymore, and that I am healthy. I am also grateful for my family and my church. I love them more than they know, and I pray that I am able to show them in the next few weeks how much they mean to me.
Hugs,
Trish
Tri****oo have missed Kat. I hope she is okay. Today I am praying for my youngest daughter, Kayla. She failed 7th grade but we found a correspondence school and so she is taking Science through them. I pray she is learning and will do well on the final exam. She has to take the final exam at her regular school. I also pray that God will go before us to Mississippi and find that place for us to live. Looks like we will be moving to the Wiggins area (Stone County). My daddy is having a stress test today so I would appreciate prayers for him.
I too am thankful for my health (we have no insurance and so far so good). I am thankful for my family and that Momma is still here with us. I am thankful for my cats (we have a manx kitten who I am really enjoying). I'm thankful for this board and for the prayers sent up on our behalf.
I pray everyone has a wonderful weekend.
