Wednesday Coffee Talk
I slept SO good! I hope you did! We went up the coast of Lake Superiour yesterday. We were about 80 miles from Canada! I wish you could have seen the beauty! I was so awe struck. This Bama boy has lived a sheltered life! HAHAHA We saw 4 lighthouses! I even got to go to the top of one! You KNOW that made my day. We also got to see a little bit of Gooseberry Falls. The falls are something else. Lucy's beauty just added to what God had already created. After our trip, we went to Lucy's brother's house for supper. Paul and Monica are awesome people! I feel so right at home and it isn't anything but a GOD plan. All of this just fits into place. I feel like I have known these people ALL of my life. Today, we are meeting SEVERAL of the Minnesota peeps for lunch and coffee! Then, we will go see several Lucy's family members, sister, brother, inlaws, aunts and uncles for a grill out at Lori, Lucy's sister for an engagement party. I love Minnesota! It is BEAUTIFUL! If God ever moved me here, I wouldn't have a problem with it at all! LOL Our challenge for today is to say I love you. Tell SOMEONE, you love them. You will be surprised at what love can do for you, your life, your family, your spouse, and your friends! I LOVE all of you! You may think think that I am crazy, but when you are full of love, you love everyone. No! I am not saying that I am better than anyone, it's just the love that God gives. I know you understand what I mean. Tell someone you love them today and see the smile that YOU cause! So, what cha sipping no today? Me? YEP! You guessed it! MORE of this Harry and David's Chocolate Peanut Butter Coffee. Gotta love it! Ya'll have a LOVE filled day!

I tell people I love them nearly every day. Some of my friends were uncomfortable with it at first even though they are Christians as well, but they know I mean it now and return their sincere expression of love to me. The cool thing is that God lets us love the unlovable even and minister to them. I don't mean just preaching at them, but just telling someone you love them just the way they are or letting someone ahead of you in the grocery line or something ministers the love of God. The walk is so much more important than the talk to the lost. I am leaving for surgery today and last night I was with my best friends from church for a women's meeting and my best friend gave me an frame to put a photo of all of us that are on the commitee that said "True friends are forever." It was so special because she knew I was feeling alone lately and she showed me that I really wasn't at all. Of course God is always with me, and I don't take that for granted, but sometimes you just need an "in the flesh hug." God is so good. I will just be with my family today, but you can bet I will tell them I love them!! Why do you always make me cry BTW-you Bully!!! LOL. Hugs-Amy
Love is probably the most common word in my vocabulary....I use it every day. How can I not show love when the ultimate love was demonstrated on a cross for me? I won't be seeing any lighthouses in the mountains but I am looking forward to a wonderful 7 days in the Tennessee Smokies. I've had a good day! Praise the Lord.
