Please pray

I would really appreciate your prayers for me concerning my teaching job. I had been given a write-up and met with the principal for excessive absences, and I was told by the principal that the meeting we had was a severe warning and that was supposed to be the end of it. Well, today I got a letter that I am now to meet with his boss, that it has been referred up to the next level, and I could be suspended for three days. I thought it was over, and it looks like it isn't. I am a wreck about this. I had a lot of absences this year due to minor illnesses, as well as pre-op stuff related to my surgery in December, and also my car accident in March, and then my cellulitis and bronchitis. My school district frowns on numerous short absences like that. I feel like I am under attack big time today between that and some other stuff that occurred today at work. Thanks, Trish

Trish, I am so sorry to hear you are going through so much right now. I will be praying for you. Just know the Father is there with you! My family and I could use prayers too. My dh has put in for a job over in Mississippi. The place he works for is opening an office over there and Paul has applied for the manager position. As usual, I worry about my girls and moving them once again. Anyway, I would appreciate your prayers for us too. Let us know how things go with your meeting. Love, Shelly

I pray that your boss will be understanding and will see that this isn't a pattern but merely an unfortunate series of events that shouldn't repeat itself this year. Shel I pray your DH will get this new job if it is God's will and that your girls will be resilient and adapt to a new town. They have an excellent mommy to help them thru! Trish, you are certainly in my prayers. Have faith....I know that God will work these issues out, however, make sure you have all your medical documentation. While we trust in God, there are those in the world that seek to destroy our Christian values....we must have our armour on!!!! luvitsunnyv
