Salvation stories

When I think of what I am most thankful for the top of the list is Salvation! Share your salvation story. Was it dramatic? Was it quiet? Whatever form, it was life-changing. Thank God! For me, I was raised in church but drifted away - 10' deep drifts! One day as I was driving home from work and back to the abusive, sinful atmosphere that had become my home I felt I had hit rock bottom and felt so unlovable. I cried out to God, "If You really are there let me know it for certain. I want to come back to You." I heard Him speak to my heart, "My precious child, I hold you in the palm of My hand and keep you close to My heart." My whole life changed that moment. What's your salvation story?

I accepted the Lord in high school. A friend kept witnessing to me and inviting me to church. Then, some ladies had me pray the sinner's prayer, and I did pray it, but my life went wild after that for a while. All through high school I sought the Lord, but never had any peace. It is sort of complicated, but the bottom line is that the Lord entered my life and began the transformation process that He continues today. I hope this makes sense. Trish
