I went to our annual Ladies retreat this last week-end and Oh what a time I had. I brought some things home with me. Peace, happiness, Comfort, and an idea that one of the speakers suggested. She stated that 10 years ago she suddenly was having to deal with depression....It was bothersome and she decided to FIGHT the devil. She began to LIST 100 things she was thankful for. She did this every morning and soon realized she was no longer feeling sad. So even though I don't feel depressed I decided I would begin this myself. I noticed that half-way through my list I was smiling. Listen it may seem like a silly idea but HEY it works and there are many more than 100 things to Thank the Lord for. Love, Lisa

Good am Lisa, I do this off and here on the board everyday. Being thankful for things is something that gets me through even the toughest of days and situations. In ANYTHING bad there are always positives we have to choose to see them. A series of events happens and then we are down, upset, depressed, etc and yet there are positives to lift us up. If this hadn't happened then I wouldn't be here or there or what have you. EVERYDAY there are many things to be thankful for. Acknowledging them is a daily part of my process and I encourage EVERYONE to take this on as a way to remind themselves that Life is full of lessons to learn to get to the "good" stuff. All best, Kat

Making a daily gratitude list helped me shake depression and see the Lord show up in my life in the most amazing ways. It is a great faith builder for me. Thanks for reminding me. Hugs, Trish
