Thursday Coffee Talk LATE!!
OH WOW!! Boy did I EVER sleep good! I've been up about 30 minutes. Got my babies off to the beach. MAN! I should be going with them. What daddy or Momma don't think the crazy things? Psalms 91 over these 4 car load of teens! Am I crazy? SHESH!
Our challenge today is to wait. Good things come to those who wait. Wait on what? What I mean is to be patient. If we get apprehensive, we just jump into decisions that sometimes we later regret. Just acting on immediate feelings can get us into trouble. Waiting and being patient allows us time to really THINK! Thinking pays off. I know that I have lacked in this area many times. I've bought things that I didn't need. I have done many stupid impulsive things before that have caused me anguish later. Let's all remember to WAIT today. Watch out! Here comes a sermon. Isaiah 40:31 says that those who wait shall soar. Let's soar today and be glad that we waited instead of making quick decisions! Now sometimes, impulse is good and fun. Like just jumping in the car and going for a long drive or other fun things, but in life long decisions, let's learn to wait.
I'm glad I waited! Look what I got! God sent Lucy! HEHEHE (not that I was searching or looking! This was a drop in my lap (so to speak) or zap up side the head thing!) God IS Good!
So, I'm late and you are already up and have enjoyed your coffee. Am I the only one who overslept? HEHEHE I am LOVING me some Dunkin' Donuts coffee today. Sure is good too!
Ya'll have an awesome day as we ALL learn how to wait!
