When our children hurt............

The HR Dept at my son's employer just informed him that they had overpaid him $200.00 a paycheck since November '07....that amounts to aboaut $2,000.00 This all took place when he changed positions and with a modest increase in pay. He did not know anything was wrong with his salary. They tole him that they will be taking it out of his future checks until it has been repaid. My son and his wife struggle in this economy, to meet their young family's needs....as do many of you and your children. These attacks can certainly cause discouragement however, I know, these events can also build character and strengthen the practice of us giving over all our burdens to Christ. It says so in Philippians 4:19 "This same God who takes care of me will supply all our needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus." I know many of us have these same concerns for finances right now....it's a crazy economy..... but God is a faithful Provider.

How awful for your son and his family. I will pray for them as I empathize somewhat. My finances are a mess, but is due to my mismanagement, not someone else's. I have three grown children, so I understand your concern for them. Hugs, Trish

Good am, I can sympathize with him. I know its not easy for any of us really. The economy has been terrible but the Lord will provide. We have to have faith and believe that. I know that there have been times when we have thought how will we make it but I dig deeper and hit the knees for knee-mail and let go letting God. Lots of prayer requests for sure but what a way to spend my time!!! All best, Kat
