Prayers & Thankful For's 5th March 2008

Good am, Prayers for Amy as she struggles a bit. Know that you are loved and supported. Prayers for Trish getting back into the swing of things work wise and home wise. Prayers for folks still recovering from surgeries (plastics/wls/other). Prayers for the folks who were hit by powerful storms last pm in and around our area. Prayers for all the folks who are going through the motions for WLS. I've been reading a lot of heart breaking stories about folks trying but there is so much red tape. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful my beautiful girls Kayla & Nora who are really wonderful and I love them with all my heart. I am thankful for the friends and family I have who are so incredibly supportive and understanding. I am thankful for OH and being able to come here and enjoy learning and giving each day. I'm really thankful tonight, Kat, that as a parent, I can witness the "faith in action" of my children and their spouses. Tonight, my son-in-law who is a fireman/paramedic in West Palm Beach and a friend of Ray, the fireman shot in the Wendy's WPB shoot-out, is promoting a couple of programs in the community and the firehouse, in Ray's honor. This is a young man, who himself, has struggled in his childhood, dropped out of high school, lacked self-esteem but because of the love of Christ has achieved personal goals, established himself as a Christian husband and father and sees his role as a fireman/paramedic as Christ directed. I am so blessed to see the remarkable Christian growth in his life.
