Prayers & Thankful For's 3rd March 2008

Good am, Prayers being asked for Luvitsunny's friend. Prayers being asked for myself as I'm facing a bit of an issue these last 2 days that has been totally unexpected. Calling my doc if things persist. Prayers being asked for Lisa on the VA board who has been fighting the Sick Fairy after having gone through so much with ulcers and strictures and such. Prayers for others still recovering from surgeries. Hopefully they are continuing to get better/stronger everyday. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for everyone getting off to their destinations this am. I am thankful for the emotions I'm able to express albeit to myself and in private. Hi Kat, I am asking prayers for myself, as I appear to have the flu. I was supposed to return to work today, after my brother's funeral, but was up all night in the bathroom. I am also asking for prayer for my family as we continue to adjust to life without Jack, especially his wife and kids. I also need prayer for some decisions I need to make. I am grateful that my brother is in heaven with the Lord right now. I am grateful for medical insurance, and good docs to take care of me. I am grateful for my kids and family who are so dear to me. I am grateful for the Lord's provision of salvation and His never ending love and forgiveness. Have a blessed day. Hugs, Trish

I am so thankful for my faith which seems to be so heavily challenged lately. My son-in-law is a fireman/paramedic in West Palm Beach, Florida. Today there was a terrible event that ended the life of his good friend Ray, also a firefighter/paramedic. Ray and his family had ordered their meals at Wendy's. One of the kids toy's was missing or wrong so Ray went back into the restaurant to make the change/correction....... only to be gunned down....a shot to the back of his head ended his life. A gunman killed him, and injured five more and then killed himself. Please pray for Ray's wife and three children.
