Prayers & Thankful For's 23rd February 2008

Good am, Prayers being asked for Trish as her brother Jack passed this weekend. My thoughts & prayers are certainly with you & your family. Prayers being asked for some friends who have had a really bad time of things with the flu. She's almost 24 weeks pregnant and has 2 other children & between those 4 and now her hubs they are just needing to get the Flu Fairy outta there and recover soon. Prayers being asked for folks recovering from surgeries. Prayers for folks struggling through what ever issues they might be facing. Prayers for me as I'm working on my nerve to discuss some important things with some of the most important people in my life. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for sleepy meds that helped me rest pretty well. I am thankful for having things such as clothes, soap, food, water, milk etc when some folks have nothing. I am thankful for my determination and hope it pays off. Enjoy your Monday! Kat

Thank you Kat, We appreciate any and all prayers. I am especially asking for prayer for my Mom and Sister, as their relationship with the Lord is sketchy at best. My sister-in-law and her kids are holding on as best they can, as am I. I am grateful that Jack knew the Lord, and that he is in heaven with Jesus now. I am grateful that his wife and I are as close as two sisters can be, even though we are in-laws. I am grateful that our pastor and friends from church were at the ER with my sis-in-law and I when we learned of Jack's passing. I am grateful for the Lord's grace and strength at this time. The viewing is this evening and the funeral is Tuesday. Hugs, Trish
