Prayers & Thankful For's 18th February 2008

Good am all, Prayers asked for our friend Jackie who is having plastic surgery this am. Prayers for the other Jackie on the VA board who's mom is having surgery. Prayers for other folks who are struggling with everyday life, change, choices etc. Its not easy this thing called Life but we have to lean on God and one another to get anywhere. Prayers asked for another friend who is really struggling with his son's choices with regard to "easy" drugs & why he doesn't see how this could affect him in the future. Ahhh to be 16 and know it all. Prayers asked for everyone that the Lord can touch our lives and hearts and ease our worries and sorrows. We have to remember to thank the Lord in good times too. That's often times overlooked by many (myself as well at times). What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for my family & friends who truly love & care about me. I am thankful for the Lord providing me with so many choices. I am thankful for standing my ground and paving the way for others. Enjoy your Monday! Kat

Hi Kat, I am asking for prayer for my foot, as I have an appointment with my podiatrist to determine what, if any, damage I did to it in my car accident this past summer. I am also asking for prayer for my food, as I am struggling these past few months, since my surgery. I am also struggling with loneliness, and wishing I could find a Godly man to spend time with. Finally, I am asking for prayer for my job hunt, as I desire to move to Michigan to live closer to my granddaughter. My daughter is planning to buy a house that I can rent from them. I am thankful for God's provision of love and strength. Mostly his forgiveness. I am thankful that I was able to go back to my hospital job this past weekend. I love that job, and get so much gratitude from it. I am also thankful that I have off from teaching today, as I am tired from seven straight days of work. Have a blessed day. Hugs, Trish
