Prayers & Thankful For's 14th February 2008

Good am ya'll, Prayers going up for a friend who was headed to the pain doc yesterday & needed some down time. Have yet to hear from her but hoping both went well. Prayers going up for another friend who is recovering nicely from some strictures/ulcers & is 1/2 way to goal & is doing so much better. Prayers for another friend who is struggling with saying goodbye to her marriage which I can sympathize with her on. Prayers that we are able to pay off some debt and get our lives back on track. Prayers for mom who is starting insulin shots but I know she can make changes to get off them quickly. Prayers for my buggas in hopes that they both are seeing how hard I try to raise them the best that I can in spite of the negatives we all face in life. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for my buggas. I am thankful for oatmeal. I am thankful for my hearing & sight - all my senses. I am thankful for meds helping heal my cold. I am thankful to be awake into another day. I am thankful the Lord is the writer of my Life & I'm trying to read things better. HAPPY HEART DAY! Kat

Good Morning Kat, Prayers are needed for my brother as he adjusts to life in a nursing home. He is still immobile, but in good spirits. Prayers also for me as I struggle with some financial problems. I also struggle on Valentine's Day since my divorce 7 years ago. I am thankful for God's love, even when man's is fickle God's is eternal. I am thankful for friends and my kids and siblings. My cousin Anne had a mastectomy today. I haven't heard from my aunt, yet. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Hubby and I fly to New York tomorrow....I'm not a good "flyer" since 9/11 so pray that my anxiety remains @ low level...... Work today was very trying.....it's not what I do, it's who's micro-managing what I do....Keep me in your prayers. I've got some big decisions over the next 4-5 months. thanks. luvitsunny
