Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 6th February 2008

Good am all, Prayers going up for us all! I believe that no matter your upbringing, background, life experiences etc we ALL are deserving of prayer. I find myself resisting in the temptations to reply to some folks with my personal opinions & thoughts because the path I choose religiously is not the same as some folks or as deep rooted so I am choosing to stay neutral (as I have always done) and be supportive & remind others WHY we are brought together to begin with & that's support, encouragement & treating everyone with the highest of marks regardless of personal tiffs that occur! WHEW! Ok, I am sending up prayers for several folks I've seen struggling with talking to others/telling others they plan to have surgery. Prayers going up for folks who are struggling with goals & such. Its tough but we gotta remember to take it day by day. Prayers going up for you folks here on this wonderful board with the many requests you've got. Keep them coming! What are YOU thankful for today? I am sooooooooooooo thankful for being alive & awake & moving around. I am thankful for finally learning to say "no" & encouraging others to stand up for themselves otherwise they will not be heard the way they wish. I am thankful for the love in my life & for the never ending faith & belief others have in me & I in them. Please do enjoy your Wednesday & give things to the Lord! Kat

Kat, as I'm sure you know, there were storms in several states, AR, TN, AL and others I think that have had some deaths and a lot of damage. I read there were 33 deaths total so we need to keep all these people and their families in our prayers. Also, my aunt is in the hospital in Little Rock, AR, in ICU, please keep her in your prayers. She is turning 80 this month. Also, continue to pray for my friend Brenda as she is having a scan done this month as well as starting radiation treatment for cancer. Momma is doing good but continue to pray that her platelet counts come up and her immune system starts working better. Continue to pray for Paul and I as we seek a house of our own. I just pray God speaks to our hearts and lets us know what He wants us to do. I am thankful that this cold (or whatever it is) is starting to get better. I am thankful for another year as I will be turning 41 tomorrow. I am thankful for my family who loves me no matter what and of course, first and foremost, our wonderful Savior!
