WORD for Today!!

Good Morning everyone!! I am sure you all slept well!!! Its wednesday and we are halfway to the weekend!! WOOHOO!! This morning, I am going to do something different than what I would do, so please bare with me in this. As I feel an urgency in my spirit to type this here. I KNOW someone out there needs to read this and read this NOW!! One thing I have discovered or have come across during this process of WLS is that there are many people who are hurting, and hurting deeply emotionally!!! Their wounds are deep and have not healed properly. So in an effort to heal them, some have turned to WLS as a way to get rid of some of the hurt and pain that may have resulted from their emotional wounds, their obesity, their lives. Does this work. Maybe, but truthfully, the roots of the problem are still there. One being loneliness. You work soo hard to lose this weight, and only to find that all you have done is lost the weight, but still have the hurt, pain and heaviness in your heart. In fact it may even be more, because now you cannot turn to food for comfort, or peace. (not that this helped, it just masked the issue) You feel very alone. I used my obesity as a way to protect myself from the world and from being hurt. Did it help me, NO. It made me feel more alone and isolated. It helped me keep others away. THIS was not what God intended for me. It was what Satan wanted!! If he could keep me isolated and alone, I could not do what Jesus called me to do! Soooo......YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!! Everyone here loves you and appreciates you!! JESUS LOVES YOU!!! In Hebrews 13:5, it reads "...I will never fail you. I will never abandon you." He is with you all the time!!! NO MATTER WHAT. All you have to do is reach out to him. He is waiting for you. As you read this, KNOW that I am praying for you and that I love you!! In fact I am going to pray for you now!! Dear Lord, We come to you in Jesus name and we lift up each person who comes across this and is feeling lonely, isolated, not loved. We pray for each person who is reading this, that they would begin to feel your presence and your peace. That your love would surround them and that they would reach out to you!! We also ask that you would begin to heal those things that may have led to this, that you would bring people into their lives that can guide them and direct them in the steps they should take to deal with these issues. That they would KNOW that they are NOT alone in their spirit and mind!!! I also pray that you would open their eyes to see that You have a purpose for their life!! Their life has meaning and that they have an awesome future ahead of them. We thank you for all the wonderful things that you are doing and are going to do in each person's life, in Jesus name, we pray and agree, AMEN!! I LOVE YOU!!!! JESUS LOVES YOU!!
