Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 5th February 2008

Good am all, Prayers being asked for myself this am. I gotta say I'm struggling a little bit with not coming across too strongly with some folks. In addition, I took last week to re-evaluate many things & my gut has been right about most of them while still others are just hard to make decisions on. Even more, I'm still dealing with some back issues (due to the excess skin) & I still have some time before I am ready for surgery to remove it. Prayers being asked for my mom. She's got marked issues with her health & yesterday I PRAY was a real eye opener for her. She CAN make changes in her lifestyle to alleviate them & I hope she does. Prayers being asked for others who for what ever their reasons really feel the need to put a negative spin on conversations & situations then try to regroup and act as if they are they victim. The victim mentality is sad & unfortunate & I ask that the Lord work on these folks. Prayers being asked for some friends. They are moving to GA for a new job position with better pay, better benefits, more opportunities for a fresh start & have found out they are expecting in the process. Prayers for my buggas who've had colds. Prayers for still another set of friends who are trying to make good decisions about the significant others in their lives as well as opportunities that have opened up to them. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for waking up to 2 beautiful buggas who are at times grumpy but ALWAYS happy to see me. I am thankful for the beautiful sunrises I get to watch each morning & never take for granted. I am thankful for the many folks in my life who add to it, help me learn & grow & love me for me. I am thankful for the family I have here & truly enjoy touching others lives & having mine touched as well. Please have a WONDERFUL Tuesday! Kat

I am asking for prayers for myself, as I am really struggling with the food this week. I am also asking that you pray for my brother, as he will be having surgery on his legs on Friday. Finally, my ex's grandfather died today. Pray for my ex, and his mom. They don't have a walk with the Lord, and I am saddened by this. My kids barely knew their great grandfather, as he lived far away,a nd was rather distant with them. I am thankful for being able to return to work. I am also thankful for my health and my relationship with the Lord. Hugs, Trish
