Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 4th February 2008

Good am all, Its good to be back & posting again this am. Last week I spent disconnected from almost everyone & everything. I needed time to regroup & pay closer attention to choices & priorities and really order things differently. I appreciate all the warm messages I've received they have meant so much. Prayers being asked for our friend Melinda who's aunt passed. Its a trying time for her & her family as with the grieving process with most everyone. Prayers for our friends Ali & Keith who are working really hard on getting their new home finished, working full-time jobs, also trying to conceive & she's struggling with school decisions. Prayers for my buggas both of which are fighting another round of colds. The oldest is home with us today with a fever & cough so its going to be interesting. She LOVES school & missing it is NOT fun for her. But, if she gets sick at school they will send her home anyway. Prayers for several other folks as there are struggles with jobs, money, relationships....LIFE but I ask that we try & see the positives in it all. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for the Lord guiding me & loving me regardless of what is going on in my life. I am thankful for the chance to back away & see things in a different light & being able to truly rearrange and focus on things better. I am thankful for being able to speak my mind & voice my opinion & although some folks might not like it I hope they realize there are things they might say that might not be liked & we have to agree to disagree & move on united as best we can. I am thankful for this cuppa this am. Its warm & just what I need. Have a WONDERFUL Monday! Kat

Hi Kit Kat! Girl you are a warm ,kind and gentle soul ! Your words of ecouragement is always a Plus in my life! I am so proud of you for standing up for the Gospel of Christ!! I know we live in a world of hate and persscution for what we believe in ! I don't back down either why just recently my faith was very tested and to some may say that i have back down but to the Lord i did what was best and that was to be a peace maker ! everyone knows by now where I too stand in my faith for God! He is the reason i live ,wake up and breath and walk,smile and see and all thinsg great and small! Their is surely noone Like JESUS!! I am thankful for Salvation for with out it none of us would be here or enjoying the freedom of living for him and not Satan! For family,friends,Sunny days to remind us in the midst of the rainny ,stormy, rocky ,ones in life that the rainbow of Christ will surely come!! For being blessed with folks like you all where WE CAn discuss our beliefs to each other and share our expercinces in life and what the LORD Hath done for us and is doing now!! for the freedom we enjoy everyday that many countires arent not privlidged to read their bible or even attend church ! I am thankful for being able to call upon Christ no matter the hr or day or nite , and need not worring about loosing a cell phone singal or if his line is busy or if he is too busy with all his work,because i and we can Go to him at any time without interrupiton for you see we are important to him!! Thank you JESUS Oh Precious Lamb Of GOD!! Thank you for being mny song in the night as well as the day ! Thank you for your Mercies are New everyday and throughout it as well! Their is NO GOD LIKE him!! Jesus is the BEST friend anyone could ever have indeed!!! Abba Father he is the beigining and the ending the Omega and the finsher of our faith! Hi Kat, Glad to have you back this week. Missed you a lot. Your posts are a real uplift to me. Prayers: Please pray for my brother, Jack. He has been out of commission for a month with torn quadricep muscles in both legs. He will be having surgery to repair them on Friday. Then, he will be transferred to a rehab. Please pray for me as I returned to work this week, after my hernia surgery in December. Please pray for me as I am struggling with some issues surrounding seeing my ex and his wife last night. I still struggle with my divorce, after seven years. There is a possibility of a move to Michigan. Please pray that the Lord would open doors He intends to have open and make His will clear to me. Thanksgiving: Being able to return to work. My kids greeted me with hugs and notes. It was so good to be back into my routine. Being able to go to my son's birthday party last night. He and his wife had a lovely Super Bowl/30th birthday party for him. Being able to resist temptation, with God's help, over the weekend. I had a really bad case of temptation to do some really bad things. God's grace and strength were there for me. Hugs, Trish
