Wednesday Coffee Talk
Good Wednesday morning my wonderful OH family! I love you guys! Ya'll make my days and mornings worth getting up for! I look forward EVERY morning to coming here and sharing my coffee with YOU! I read all your posts and I know I'm scarce on the board as of late, but I am studying 600 questions for a test in April. I do read your replies. ALL of them and YOU bless ME!
Our challenge today is all about confession. Confession makes ya feel good. We as Christians know how good confession can be. Remember the day you confessed your sins? Remember the weight you felt leave? I will NEVER forget the day Jesus came in to my heart and I made the GREATEST confession! So, Why pick this topic today? Because I had to confess to my Dr.yesterday. I went for my 4 month check up on my kidneys and ALL of my #'s were wonderful except for my HA1C. What that does is, it measures the total amount of blood sugar levels over a period of time. You see, I have NEVER had a real sweet tooth. But for the past few months, I would find myself craving sweets. I would sneak a bite here and there. My weight was only 1 pound different from the last time I was there in September. That was good. When I confessed to him, he told me I was only hurting myself. That hit me like a BLOCK upside the head. Confession makes us realize things in our lives we need to change. I see a LOT of other things in my life now that I need to confess and change. I have vowed to NOT eat sweets any more! NO! I can do this! What confession do you need to make? What do you need to change. Believe me, I have LOTS more to work on! Don't post your confessions here, just realize them and work on it! YOU CAN DO THIS!
So, who's up this morning? What cha sipping on? ME? I'm enjoying some awesome Chocolate Truffle this morning. It is so good. I have my Pastor and his wife HOOKED on Chocolate Truffle. Some of the guys in church call this sissy coffee. Sissy coffee or not, it sure is GOOD!
I KNOW you will have a great Wednesday! You guys ROCK!!
Good Morning Randall,
What a great topic. I have been messing up with my food as well, and eating too much, and eating sweets and other carbs as well. My excuse is that I am on steroids for my asthma, which causes increased appetite and I am out of control somedays.
I also have other things to confess to the Lord, and I am so grateful that He understands, and forgives NO MATTER WHAT. His grace is unending and abounding.
I am sipping my iced green tea, about to go get my Christmas Blend. I think I have two more pots left before I go back to Maxwell House.
Have a blessed day.
Hugs,
Trish
