Dr. Stanley's Sunday Message

Today's message on "In Touch" was awesome. It was on the person of the Holy Spirit. It really ministered to me in a powerful way, and I highly recommend that you get it. If you have iTunes, you can subscribe to his messages and get them for free. Some of the highlights that I got include: 1. The Holy Spirit is a person, not an "it". 2. I am not alone, I have the Holy Spirit living within me. 3. The reason the Holy Spirit is in us is to live the life of Christ through us. 4. The Holy Spirit is our divine helper in times of trouble. 5. He is a practical helper, called to walk alongside us. 6. He is a personal helper. If he is living inside of me, is there anything about me that He does not know. 7. He is an available helper, always there for me. 8. He is always adequate. I cannot come up with anything that God cannot handle. 9. He is a dependable helper. 10. He is a wise helper. 11. The Holy Spirit helps in our prayer life. 12. The Holy Spirit helps us understand the Word of God. 13. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin in our lives. 14. The Holy Spirit helps us in moments of weakness and frailty. 15. The Holy Spririt helps us through difficult times of sorrow and heartache. 16. The Holy Spirit gives us Spiritual Gifts to use for God's glory. I just thought I would share that with you all.
