Good am all, Prayers asked for my buggas and other kids who are studying & going through testing at school. Prayers asked for me that I can see the path that the Lord wants me to walk down especially job related. Prayers asked for me with regard to getting more motivated & back on track with things. Prayers asked for the gal I past last pm who has struggled with addiction & is like me a sober gal with fresh perspective but we are still taking it day to day. Prayers asked for the gal she was with who she's tried mentoring however, she's young, seemingly doesn't yet "GET IT" & really has little concept of responsiblity as folks have bailed her out time & again. Which brings me to ask for prayers for my sister & her finances/decisions. She could use some guidance & support. We all can truthfully. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for meds working last pm. I am thankful for getting in some "me" time. I am thankful for coming here & commiting not just to myself but others and giving back. I am thankful that the Lord sees so much potential in me. I am thankful for love & support. Have a GREAT Thursday! Kat

Good Morning Kat, I am asking for prayers for the following: 1. My brother's knees. He sees the physical therapist again today, but needs to see an orthopedist. 2. Me, as I try to stay with the food plan I am supposed to. Also, for my depression to start to lift. 3. For my kids to get and stay close to the Lord. 4. Me, as I go to a podiatrist for a foot injury I got in my car accident in July. I am thankful for the following: 1. My AA meeting yesterday and another day sober. 2. My ability to help my brother at this time. 3. Having a roof over my head and food to eat, and heat. 4. God's love, grace and forgiveness.

It's been a difficult day for me but that all seems to change when I take the time to think about my blessings: 1. I'm thankful I have a job. There are so many people being laid off from their places of work. I truly thank God, that for today, I have employment and an income....as modest as that may be. 2. I'm thankful my children, their spouses and my grandchildren know the Lord. Sometimes as a parent you question "was I too strict?", "was I too soft?"...... I have to say, that undertaking the parental role, is one of the most challenging and one of the most pleasurable things I could have ever done. I cannot imagine doing this without God's help. 3. I'm thankful to be living in a free, democratic country whose foundation (whether it is recognized by everyone or not) is based on sound Biblical principal. I watch the candidates on television and listen to their promises but my prayer is that whomever leads our country during the next tenure is the one that God appoints. We all need to pray for the person even now. Please continue to remember my cousin Anne who will be undergoing a mastectomy on the 29th of this month. My father-in-law is ill, too, so please remember his in your prayers, too. luvitsunnyv
