Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 21st January 2008

Good am all, What a GREAT am! Why? Because I feel it, believe it, see it and the Lord is blessing my life RIGHT NOW! Prayers requested for my family & friends as the struggles sometimes seem to outweigh coasting through our lives. Often times we turn to the Lord when things are "good" instead of when things are both "bad" & "good." We should lift one another up in prayer all the time & ourselves. God is listening we just have to reach out. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for the great weekend we had. I am thankful for my family & friends. I am thankful for the warmth in our home. I am thankful to come here each day & learn and grow & share. Have a FANTASTIC Monday! Kat

Good Morning Kat, I am requesting prayer for myself today. That my walk with the Lord would strengthen me, and that I would get my food in order so I can honor Him with everything I do. I am attempting the 5 day pouch test. I am also requesting prayer for my kids, especially my boys, as neither of them walk with the Lord. I am thankful for my heat working this morning, and for my computer being online. It allows me to fellowship with you all. I am also thankful for my wonderful kids, and my gorgeous granddaughter. Good morning and praise the Lord to you all! Its a ebautiful sunny day here in Indiana,,cold though! BRRR Like you all, I am thankful for heat! I have a praeyr request today for a e bautiful young mother in my church. Her name is Michelle, and she is 26 years old. She was born with bowel problems,,which have plagued her all her life. Recently they had to remove over a hundred blockages, in a nine hour surgery. The Lord kept His hand on her and she came out with flying colors, that was last summer. Well, the other day she had problems again, and the docs told her there is nothing they can do, her food is not digesting, it just lays there..they said without a miracle she will not live to spring! Yesterday she was at church, in the Praise Singers, singing her heart out for the Lord. To look at her you would never know she had a care in the world. She has two little girls, ages 4 and 6. We are asking for her miracle, so please pray with us. As to what I am thankful for, there is so much! I am so thankful for my husbands new job, new health insurance coverage, a good relationship with my kids, a nice home across the street from my best friend of 35 years and around the corner from my church. But even more than all these gifts, I am so thankful that I know the Giver... no matter the need,,He has the answer! Be Blessed Betsy!
