Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 16th January 2008

Good am all, Prayers asked for myself as I'm truly not feeling well this am. Nauseous & just off. Prayers for mom as she starts her new job today. Prayers for a friends mom who has just been diagnosed with Colon cancer. Prayers for another friend whos wife found a lump in her breast and had surgery yesterday & is home recovering. Prayers for a few others who have the untimely issue with heating units in their homes. Prayers for my sister & her struggles with relationships & finances. Prayers for Shannon who is still recovering from back surgery but is in better spirits really. Prayers for friends who are the couple I've mentioned before. She's doing wonderfully with her preggers journey and is feeling the Lil' Bean move around & for her hubs who is seeing a specialist today or tomorrow for his leg. Surgery seems almost a positive outcome but miracles happen. Prayers for another couple who are struggling with the decision to move several states away for her hubs job opportunity. Its a great time for it but mixed emotions. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for the Lord & his forgiveness, mercy, love, blessings & guidance. I am thankful for my nausea subsiding currently. I am thankful for the great friends & family I have. I am thankful for the beautiful sunshine streaming through my windows. I am thankful for the being able to be off all meds with the exception of 1 script & the rest vitamins. I am thankful for being able to walk and feel better & better. Enjoy your Wednesday! Kat

Good Morning Kat, Praying along with you. I am praying for my brother, Jack, recovering from injuring both of his knees in a fall at work last week. I am also praying for myself, as I am still not up to returning to work yet. I am taking a couple more weeks as a result. Pray for peace, as this causes me a lot of anxiety. Not about finances, but work itself. I am a teacher and a part time rec therapist. Both are physically demanding jobs. I still need prayers for my finances, as I quit one of my three jobs, and now just have the two. I am grateful for my family and friends, and the Lord's love and grace. I am thankful for heat and for the roof over my head. Hugs, Trish
