Special Prayer Request

As most of you know, it is Election Day in Michigan. While the primaries are important, there is a special vote being done where my daughter, Colleen, lives to decide whether to consolidate two school districts. One is where Colleen lives, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law work, the other is the school distric Colleen teaches for, along with another sister-in-law. If the vote is to consolidate the schools, all of them will be laid off, and will have to apply for their jobs all over again. This is especially stressful for Colleen, as she may have to go back to work full time, if laid off and rehired, instead the part-time position she has since Isabel was born.

Praise the Lord. My daughter called and said that the consolidation was voted against, and she will not be laid off. Thanks for praying. Hugs, Trish

Hi Pat. We have sort of a similar bill that the citizens of FL vote on 1/29. Voting yes could mean my son-in-law and future son-in-law lose their jobs as a fireman and a police officer. I would appreciate your prayers.
