Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 9th January 2008

Good am all, Prayers asked for our friend Amber who is having surgery today (non-wls). Prayers asked for another friend who is struggling with her decision to tell her parents about her choice(s) she has/is made/making & hoping they love her just the same. Prayers asked for others who are newly post-op trying to find their way. Prayers for those of us trying to get back on track. Prayers for us ALL! What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful the Lord who I need to listen to more REALLY listen. I am thankful for my brain saying ENOUGH & forcing me to shut down & regenerate a bit. I am thankful for pushing through situations that are incredibly hard & frustrating. I hope everyone has a GREAT Wednesday! Kat

Good Morning Kat, I am asking for prayer for myself, as I am struggling with physical pain and emotional frustration with my post-op period. Please pray I stick with my devotional time and my food plan. Prayers are also needed for those who are pre-op waiting for their insurance to approve. Prayers also for a friend from the PA board who is post-op for years, and having pain and her insurance is giving her the run-around. I am thankful for my family and friends. A friend brought his daughter over last night and she vaccuumed my living room and he moved some furniture around for me. Being post-op from the hernia surgery I am unable to do such things. I am thankful for the Lord's strength when I have none to resist temptation. I am thankful that my job allows me sick time, even though I don't make a good patient at times. Huggles, Trish
