Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 7th January 2008
Good am all,
Prayers asked for our friend Shannon for continued healing from her back surgery. Prayers for me as I'm working on getting back on track & losing weight after having been down (but not out) for quite a bit of time. Prayers for some friends who are deciding where and when they would like to move. I understand that it might be a few states away. Its wonderful for them & the opportunities it presents for their family. Prayers for me to find the strength to continue our bond knowing they won't be as close. Prayers for my family as I am struggling with see some of those very close to me deal with their own sort of addictions knowing until they are ready to help themselves nothing I say or do will work. I am praying for faith & guidance & strength to deal.
What are YOU thankful for today?
I am thankful for my AchievOnes arriving over the weekend. I am thankful for the beautiful weather allowing for comfortable walking temperatures. I am thankful for my buggas taking marked interest in walking & nature time. I am thankful for the gut instincts I have and listen to.
Hope everyone has a FANTASTIC Monday!
Kat
Good Morning Kat,
Prayers are needed for Bob, as he may be developing an infection. He goes to see the doctor today. Prayers continue for his wife, my friend, Ruth, as she is exhausted and they both need some time to emotional recuperate from all the stress of late. Prayers for me as the doc has me staying home another couple of weeks, recuperating from the surgery is slower than I had hoped, and I have been having some pain of late. Prayers for me as I consider moving within my apartment complex. Prayers for missionary friends who are in needed of added support, and are home on furlough to raise it.
I am thankful for a great worshipo service yesterday. It challenged me to look at how I am reaching out to the lost. I am also thankful for my family, who are helping me with things I cannot do just yet, especially sis-in-law, Kathy. I am also thankful for being able to speak with Ruth on Saturday and catch up with her.
Hugs,
Trish
