Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 4th January 2008

Good am all, Prayers for our friend Shannon who had back surgery yesterday. Hope she's healing/recovering nicely. Prayers for me that I keep my hope & determination strong and forge through each day remembering to put the Lord first. Prayers for some friends who are struggling to find the Lord. Prayers for pre-ops, post-ops & everyone in between. Prayers for those here on the Christianity forum. Prayers across the world for some friends who I'm trying to get in contact with. I hope things are going well. What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for being able to say how I feel & have it respected & accepted. Good morning all! I'm asking for prayers for my brother and sister-in-law. They told us over Christmas that they have decided to adopt. They are just in the beginning stages so please keep them in your prayers that everything goes smoothly. My sister-in-law is type 1 diabetic and I pray that does not stop them from being able to adopt. My momma is so very happy and wants to tell everyone but we are going to wait until they have been approved first. My friend Brenda who had a thyroidectomy because of thyroid cancer. Please keep her in your prayers. Also, please continue to pray for Paul and I that we will be able to find a place of our own or at least a place closer to the school my girls attend. Pray that Paul will be successful in this job. Pray for my girls as they are really struggling in school right now. This is their 4th school in 5 years and it has been really hard on them, especially my youngest. Momma is doing good but please continue to pray for her. I am thankful for my family and the Lord allowing me to born into a Christian family. I, of course, am so very thankful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. Love, Shel

Good Morning Kat, I continue to pray for Isabel, my granddaughter. She still has the rotavirus, but is doing better. I continue to pray for Bob and Ruth. Bob is out of the hospital now, and recuperating at home. I pray for my mother to develop an assurance of salvation. I pray for my sons that they would want a closer relationship with the Lord. I am thankful for my surgoen's visit, and his wisdom and kindness. I am thankful for my recuperation from the hernia surgery and how I am progressing. I am thankful for God's wisdom in a relationship with a guy. I am thankful for God's goodness to me in all that I have been through and His awesome Grace and Love. Hugs, Trish

I'm thankful today to be tired........sounds odd, doesn't it? But I had a wonderful day with my daughter shopping for wedding gowns in Coral Gables. Funny though, when I looked at her in the flowing and beaded elegance of the dress, I saw my little princess in her white laced dedication gown.....Yup!, I cried. But you know, I'm thankful that she is marrying a Christian young man and that she is a Christian. No matter what challenges they will face.......they know the Divine Power to seek!
