Daily Prayers & Thankful For's 31st December 2007
Good am all,
Prayers requested for us all in the coming new year. May we make goals and accomplish them, grow our relationship with the Lord, connect, grow & learn one another, make better choices & decisions, try harder, keep faith, hope & love strong/alive and come together! Prayers requested for me as I'm heading out this am for my follow up appointment since having a sorta of non-wls related surgery but will help with some future wl hurdles. Prayers for me for strength and endurance so that I might make some decisions about my life that I've been putting off until I could get other things (such as the latest surgery) accomplished. Prayers for all those who are attending parties, galas, events this pm. Lord please protect everyone from drinking and drunk driving. Seems like every year someone thinks they are sober enough. Prayers for several on the VA board who are struggling with eating issues. Prayers for another friend who is just days from surgery and she is I'm sure nervous and worried which is understandable. Prayers for my mom who is once again pursuing surgery.
What are YOU thankful for today?
I am thankful for YOU Lord! I am thankful for my buggas, Trey, family, friends and all the blessings the Lord has provided. I am thankful I have made it to this day. I am thankful for the strength to get up each morning and keep trying. I am thankful for the chances to make better choices and good decisions.
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE EVERYONE!
Kat
Hi kat,
Happy New Year's Eve,
I continue to pray for Bob and Ruth, as well as my precious granddaughter who got sick over the weekend. I also want to pray for Doreen's daughter on the PA board and my friends on the Addictions board.
I am thankful for God adding to my family in 2007. He gave me my precious angel, Isabel, born in June, and then my daughter-in-law, Casey, in September. I also thank Him for my weight loss and my recent surgery to repair the incisional hernia.
My prayer for 2008 is that we would walk closer to Him and grow in the grace and knowledge of Him.
Be safe.
Hugs,
Trish
