Daily Prayers/Thankful For's 20th December 2007

Good am all, Prayers requested for me & some friends...one of our friends passed away yesterday. Prayers requested to Terry that her approval situation improves & things progress as she'd like them to. Prayers requested for my nephew who injured his finger/hand & is going this am to have it set we think. Prayers for those who are alone & saddened may they have others reach out to them in their down times. May we all reach out to one another regardless of barriers in our ways whether it be worrying over what others will think, us thinking we are in the right, etc. Sometimes the best part of holding on is letting go! What are YOU thankful for today? I am thankful for our friend passing and no longer suffering. I am thankful for waking to another day & really being reminded to pass on my love to and for others. I am thankful for the Lord's mercy in all things. I am thankful that even though I don't know some things or really understand them that God has a plan. Have a GREAT Thursday! Kat

Good Morning Kat, I would appreciate prayer, as my pain level is constant, unless I lay flat. Well, I cannot lay flat all day, as I must keep moving. I would also appreciate prayer for my daughter's family as they drive from Michigan to PA for the holidays. Pray especially that my granddaughter would be cooperative, as she is 6 months old. I am thankful for my mom being here to take care of me. For an early Chrsitmas present she gave me in money to pay off some debts. I am also grateful for the best medical care during my surgery. Prayers coming your way for pain relief and safe travel with that precious little one. What a blessing for your mom to be able to help with care and financially, you've had a rough year. I pray that next year will be much better for you and that you will be blessed over and over!

I am a little late in responding to this thread, but I want to say that I am thankful for everyone's prayer's. I am thankful for the time my husband and I will be spending with our two sons and their wives over the holidays. I am also thankful for my first grandchild who will be here in April. I am thankful that God gave me my friend Bee, if only for a short time. Bee is on Hospice care and will be going home to be with the Lord sometime soon. God is so good.
