WORD for Today!!

Good Morning everyone!!!! I am praying for all of you today for healing, peace and that you would feel his presence in all that you do!!! You know as I was praying, the word that God kept sharing with me was TRANSITION! Transition or as some call it change, changing from one season to the next. Changing careers, Going to school, changing family situations, changing ministries, changing locations, etc. Many of us on here have had recent life transitions, such as WLS surgery, children returning home, new babies being born, marriage, and unfortunately, loved ones going home to be with Jesus. These are all life transitions or changes. Are transitions easy to go through? NOPE. Even the good ones. Like a newborn baby, look at the adjustments with this. Or marriage, getting used to having another person around you when you may have been single and living alone. OR if someone who was with you, such as a parent or spouse, is suddenly no longer there for whatever the reason is, the loss of that person now forces you to make some life adjustments on all levels. TRANSITION. When this is happening in our lives, we have 2 decisions we can make with this. We can choose to turn to Jesus and let him steer our way through it and walk us through it OR we can go it alone and try to sort it out ourselves. Yes, with Jesus, this process is much easier and more peaceful. Without him, the road can be more tricky, uncertain, scarey at times and hard. Can it be done, yes, but its a lonely way, some don't suceed. With Jesus, you grow in all areas of your life. Thats what Jesus desires for us, to grow in Him. This is transition. Jesus never intended us to be stagnet like stale bread. Just sitting there and watching life pass us by, and we get old and crusty and become nothing. He wants to take our lives, change it, heal it, fix it and display it for others to see! He wants to use us in wonderful ways to help others come unto him. I believe a majority of us had WLS surgery so we could change our lives, live longer and LIVE!!! Jesus wants us to live, and we all were given a wonderful blessing of having WLS. Its a transtion to a new us! So, I know I speak this to myself when I say, that no matter what transition you are going through, you WILL get through and become a better, stronger person at the end of it!! PLUS you will be in a new season in your life and you get to grow more as a person and in your relationship with Jesus!! Afterall, HE desires only the best for you!!! All you have to do is make the decision and choose HIM to help you through it!! You will have peace through it!! Philippians 4:9 reads, "And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." My prayer for you today is that you would realize that God IS with you in your situation, that He will see you through it to the end AND that the purpose and call he has on your life is being fulfilled now!!!
