Friday Coffee Talk
WOO HOO!! It's Friday! Can ya do the happy ?? The weekend is almost here! Do you have big plans? My family is having Christmas tomorrow and I can't wait to spend time with them. I hope you have an awesome weekend, whatever you do!
Our challenge today is to spend wisely. This time of year, we get so caught up in making everyone we can happy, that we cause ourselves to get in a pinch, over load our credit cards, and we don't think about the cost of things. Things are nice to give, but buy conciously. Spend your money knowing that you have it and that you can afford it. People would lots rather have a gift from the heart rather than from the $$$ point. Sometimes children don't understand and they throw a huge list of things at us. We want to make them happy. But when they do this, know you can afford it or either sit them down and lovingly let them know that you can do one or two items (large) on the list and they will get other "surprise" gifts. They will love that a whole lot more. I can remember as a child and teen my parents giving. No matter what it was, I LOVED IT and KNEW it was from their heart (after I learned of Santa). Give this Christmas from the heart. They will feel the love. Love sure beats $$$ any day in my opinion.
So, who's up this morning? I am and I FEEL 100% better. I feel like a new man! I'm enjoying some awesome Merlita Strawberry and Cream. Sure is good too Karen G.! I LOVE it and I am enjoying it in an awesome mug sent to me by Debbie Robers. I love you ladies! God bless you both. God bless ALL of you! Enjoy your sipping this a.m.
Torey and Allison start their Christmas Vacation from School today at 11:00. Torey volunteered me to make velveeta and rotel cheese dip for his HOSA party so I have already been up cooking hamburger meat and throwing it all in the crock pot.
Ya'll enjoy your Friday and be blessed in all you do! LOVE YOU ALL!
