Good am all, My apologies for missing yesterday's post. It was a LONG day! Asking for prayers for each & everyone. It seems many of us are struggling with the season, holidays & things are a bit stressful. There have been many posts about eating excessively & moods not being what they usually are. Its a tough time & let us lift one another up in prayer. What are YOU thankful for? I am thankful for the beautiful sunshine. I am thankful for the nice conversation with the neighbor this am. I am thankful for another day to make good choices & live my life the best I can. I am thankful for the chance to give back to others & learn new things everyday. LORD I AM THANKFUL FOR YOU! Have a GREAT Wednesday! Kat

Good Morning Kat, Please continue to pray for Bob Bell. He was the man with the blood clots in the summer, and the infection in November. He had several ribs removed last week in surgery in an attempt to get rid of the infection. There is danger the infection could move to his heart muscle. He will need another surgery, and has to spend Christmas in the hospital. Also, keep his wife, Ruth, in prayer, as she continues a medication to fight breast cancer. I need prayer for sleep. My sleep pattern has been all messed up for weeks, and I did not sleep at all last night. I am taking a personal leave day from work to get some cleaning done and then take a nap. I am grateful for friends, like Ruth, who continue to praise the Lord in all that is happening. I am grateful for the Lord's love in all that I am going through emotionally. Hugs, Trish

I am asking for prayers for a friend of mine in GA. Her name is Brenda. She just found out she has thyroid cancer and said she will be going through surgery soon. She is a wonderful Christian lady who truly loves the Lord with all her heart. She is also a foster parent who truly loves all the kids she has fostered with all her heart. Momma is doing better but I ask that you continue to lift her up. I also pray that the Lord does give her some of her site back but if He doesn't, that she will be able to accept it. Please continue to pray for our housing situation. We are waiting to look at a house that is in Swee****er and praying this will be the one. I am thankful for friends like Brenda who the Lord places in my life along these journies. I am thankful the Lord is allowing momma to stay with us a little while longer and that Daddy is able to retire so he can stay home with her. I am thankful for my sister who lives in my hometown so that she can help them out (I really wish I could be there). I am so thankful that we will get to go home over Christmas and spend time with our families. Love, Shel

I praise God that I have passed my classes this semester. Undertaking 18 credit hours, 25 clinical hours and working 40+ hours a week has not been easy...especially for a new career at age 57. What can I say.....except thank you Jesus for sustaining me and assuring me that this is all in a Divine plan for my life. This Saturday, I celebrate 4 yours since my weight loss surgery. It feels like a long time yet I remember every detail of this life changing event....as if it were yesterday. Again, I would not have gotten through the negative events without prayers and support from friends and family. God is so wonderful.....I praise His name! luvitsunnyv
