Daily Prayer Request/Thankful For's 4th December 2007
Good am all,
I'm requesting prayers for our friend who's son at one point was having some serious attitude issues & has been doing a bit better but seemingly the school doesn't show any interest in helping him only reporting every issue they can find on him. The school is not particularly known to be great to begin with. His father requested a variance and now we are working on a letter as to why his son deserves this variance. Its sad that the school shows no interest except to complain about the son instead of offering up suggestions. The father has to work & the son has complained to all the "right" persons yet none of the issues have been resolved to include personal attacks & threats. So, prayers please that we can get this letter written up & sent and the variance request is approved & his son can have a fighting chance. He's really smart & gets GREAT grades at the school he's trying to get the variance to go to in which he takes a vo-tech class for the 2nd half of his day. In addition, prayers for our friends hubs who goes for an MRI (right now actually) to determine the depth of the infection in the bone from a spider bite a couple years ago. Also, prayers for us all that we might reach out to others in our lives and give of ourselves.
What are YOU thankful for today?
I am thankful for the blessings of the Lord. I am thankful for the heat in our home. I am thankful for the clothes & shoes we have to keep warm. I am thankful for the conversations I have with great friends & family. I am thankful for others continuing to believe in me & love me for me. I am thankful for the chance to share my life & stories with others so they know they are not alone.
Enjoy your Tuesday!

Please pray for my friend. Her husband fell off a ladder after hanging Christmas lights and has a broken nose and other broken bones in his face.
I am thankful that the Lord provided us with the new place to live which we made it into on Saturday. There was much stress and worry up to this point. I feel so blessed and such a measure of relief.
