WORD for Today!!

Good Morning everyone!!! I know that all of you are going to have a blessed and prosperous day today!! AMEN!! This morning, I want to remind all of you of the importance of praying before you leave in the morning!! In Ephesians 6:10-18, it reads, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." Pray for protection over yourself, your spouses, your children and anyone else the Lord leads you to pray for!! As this scripture says that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the Devil!! This does not mean you are living in fear!!! Afterall, the devil is under our feet!! He is a snake trying to go about an reak havoc in our lives, steal, kill and destroy!! But there is no reason to fear him!! We have Jesus on our side!! However, in sayng this, we need to be wise!!! Afterall, we aren't perfect and we all make mistakes, and he waits for us to make those mistakes and to use them against us!! He will do anything to take our eyes off of Jesus!! Thats why we need God's protection daily!!! I encourage all of you to pray the first thing in the morning, that way you are giving your day to God and making him first, in your day!! Now you may say, "well, I don't have time to read his word and spend quality time with him" I understand this, as I feel I can concentrate on His word and spend more time at night vs. in the morning. But prayer can happen ANYTIME!! In the car, in the shower, anywhere!! In these days, prayer needs to be a crucial element in our lives, something we cannot neglect to do!!! I encourage you to start even after reading this and make it happen daily! You will not only see the results of it, but your relationship with Jesus will become stronger!! My prayer for all of you is that you would desire to read His word, pray and seek him above all else and that you would know that Jesus loves you and wants you to be wise in all that you do!!
