WORD for Today!!

Good Morning everyone!!!! I know you all had a wonderful night's sleep and had an awesome day yesterday!!! Can you believe its November already!! The month of Thanksgiving!! I encourage all of you to start thinking about what you are thankful and grateful for!! Sometimes it is so easy to think on the negatives of our lives and world, that we forget to focus on what is good in our lives!! AMEN!! Today I want you to talk about love. That is walking in love towards one another (family, freinds, strangers) and with God!! God is LOVE!!! If we aren't walking in Love towards one another, than are we really walking with God, who IS love!! God knows we are not perfect. If we were, we would't need Jesus. So he understands our faults and knows that we aren't always going to do this. But we need to be striving towards this and do the best we can. I speak this to myself as well. I know all of us, have people or had people in our lives that just rub us the wrong way, irritate us or we just don't get along with. It could be a personality issue, or personal issue. The point is that God does not say to walk in love towards some people, or towards a few people we already love. He wants us to walk in love towards everyone!!! This is not an easy thing, but I believe that over time, our love walk will be much better and also we will be in a closer relationship with God. In 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, "If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn't love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God's secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn't love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn't love others, I would have gained nothing. Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every cir****tance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when full understanding comes, these partial things will become useless. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly as in a cloudy mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. Three things will last forever--faith, hope, and love--and the greatest of these is love." (NLT) You see love, the love of God, is the foundation of all that we are and do. Jesus is Love!! If we don't have this operating in our lives, than all we are doing is unto ourselves! God wants us to walk in love and to work on this and do the best we can until we are called to be home with him!! We aren't perfect, but if our desire is to serve God and be obedient to His will, than our love walk will be improve and get better!!! My prayer for all of you is that today you would realize 1) You are loved!!! 2) God wants to bless you! 3)There are people in your life right now that need to see the Love of God through you!!!
