WORD for Today!!

Good Morning everyone!!!!! I KNOW you all had a wonderful nights sleep!!!! My question for all of you today is, Do you know God wants to increase you?? He wants to bless you and your children!! He wants to increase you financially, spiritually, relationally, in the ministry and however else the Lord wants to bless you!! He wants you to KNOW that he is in the blessing "business". He wants to meet your needs on all levels, He wants you to be happy!! He wants to bless you with more wisdom, knowledge, maturity and peace. This is His desire, to bless and increase!! In Psalms 115:13-15 it reads, 13 He will bless those *****verently and worshipfully fear the Lord, both small and great. 14 May the Lord give you increase more and more, you and your children. 15 May you be blessed of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth! But did you know that in order for Him to bless you, you have to be willing to receive it!!! One of the biggest issues people have with receiving blessings is pride!! Pride will prevent you from receiving that which God intended for you to have! Most people don't have a problem giving to others, but when it comes to actually receiving something, other than a gift, thats a different story!! We have to lay our pride down and Humble ourselves before the Lord. Then will He be able to bless you in the physical and spiritual realm!! Pride is a very dangerous thing and it hinders many people from being the person that God intended them to be. It prevents people from opening themselves up and allowing Jesus to come in and change their life. In Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Pride will cause you to decrease, not increase. Is that saying we can't be proud of something, NOPE!! I am proud of many people in my life, of the things they have accomplished. BUT when it hinders you in your walk with God and others, than its a BIG problem!!! Remember God wants to INCREASE, INCREASE, INCREASE!!!! He Loves YOU!!!!!!!!! My prayer for you today is that you begin to see an increase in those areas of your life that have been on your heart and mind! That you would begin to experience it and see it!!!
