Rough night in the ER

Well as I wrote in prayer request yesterday my pre-op blood thinners worked too well and I ended up in the ER. My blood was about twice as thin as it should be and I have huge bruises and hematomas all over me. Looks like I was out street fightin'. So they kept me over night for observation and to install a vein filter for surgery Fri. I'm so thankful they didn't cancel the surgery I would have been sooo disappointed. I'm back home and feeling better and looking forward to some good rest. So I'd appreciate prayer for an uneventful surgery Fri. Thanks much!

karen I am so glad you went to the ER and that they decided to place the vena cava filter. I assume that is the one they did. I have the same thing. Praying for your day Friday to go very smooth and waiting to hear the praise report!! In Christ's love, Joan M

Thanks so much for your prayer. I'm feeling much better today. To top of all the fun , they gave me vicadin for the pain and I'm allergic to it so they quick like pumped me full of steroids and benedryl. It was truely an accident as my allergic braclet they give you had slid under the ID one and they didn't see it. So always ask what you are taking BEFORE you swallow. I'm just glad I asked right away and they were able to avert problems. The Lord has truely been busy watching over me and I just praise Him so much for that. Have a wonderful day all!
