Protein Shake Recipe
I havent posted in here in quiet a while but I thought I'd drop by and share a shake recipe with ya...
Sunrise Smoothy
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
1 cup orange juice (or SF orange koolaid)
½ banana (peeled)
2 scoops low carb ice cream
4-5 frozen strawberries
Mix in blender until smooth
*This is one of my favorite protein shakes. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

My easiest recipe is this.
1 scoop vanilla protein powder. (I use AnyWhey)
1 envelope sugar free Chocolate Instant Breakfast. (I am a chocoholic.)
8 oz. skim milk.
I use a shaker cup, and it tastes just like a regular Instant Breakfast.

Good Morning Protein Princess,
This does sound yummy. My only real concern here would be the number of calories this has in it. Liquid moves through our stomaches faster than solid food so those calories get absorbed very quickly, and then leave us empty in the tummy. Liquid calories have been blamed as one of the contributing factors for obesity in the US. Just think about all those Mocha Frappachinos and Jamba Juice things and you will know what I am talking about. I am not saying "don't" - I am just saying be careful.

You're right.
I dont drink protein shakes very often since I am almost 5 years out. When I do drink one, it's usually because I've not had enough protein for a few days and I'm trying to correct that. If I drank one other than to up my protein, I'd use it as a meal replacement and not a snack.
I have several 100 shake recipes. I post them on other boards just to give those who might be struggling with getting enough protein suggestions.
