God is healing and fixing us!
Hi everyone!
Sorry I haven't posted for a few days, things have been busy on my end and I needed to spend some "me" time and stay off of the 'puter. LOL.
So I thought I would share something with you that is encouraging and brief. I took a nap this afternoon and I had a dream. It was regarding fixing things and putting the pieces back together that were once damaged. The example was a puzzle. I was dreaming that God had taken certain puzzle pieces and repaired them, fit them back together. He was in the process of taking the puzzle pieces of my life, healing them, and refitting them. Guess what, they fit together perfectly!! Right now, in my life, God is healing that which has been damaged by my obesity and past hurts. He is doing this for each one of us who are having and have had WLS. He is getting us to place where he wants us to be, despite the detours we created or getting lost along the way. He is in the process of getting us back on track!! Praise God!! It was a very peaceful dream and in a way another confirmation to me that I am doing the right thing with this surgery. I hope this is an encouragment to each one of you that God is continually doing a new thing in each of us to get us to the place he wants us and the person he wants us to be!! AMEN!!
God Bless and Hugs!

I know God has been fixing me for the past few years. He is awesome and can heal every wound. Two years ago, He instantly delivered me from the pain and hatred I had stored up against my step-father who had abused me as a child for over 10 years. He also helped me quit smoking after 15 years of having the nasty habit around the same time. Now he is using the surgery to get me back to a normal weight. He has also delivered me from depression and is now helping me get off the meds I have been on for years. I am now taking a class at a bible college and am preparing myself to be used by Him to win souls for the Kingdom of God. That is what this life is about anyway-winning the lost. I agree God is in the business of restoration!! What an awesome reminder!! hugs-Amy
