Do you know that God is pleased with you?

Do you know that God is pleased with you just the way you are, right now! Do you know that you already have God's approval? There nothing more that you can do to get him to be more pleased, love you more or approve you more. Why? Because God is no respecter of persons, he shows no favoritism. (Acts 10:34). I like to say we are all God's favorites. Because he loves everyone so much. I am currently reading a book by Joyce Meyer's entitled "Approval Addiction". It is a wonderful book. She mentions 2 main things that we must do to please God. We are all doing these now. They are: have faith in Jesus, and desire to please Him with all our heart. In John 6:28-29, it reads, "Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?" Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the One he has sent." Thats it. Thats all we have to do to please Him and we are doing this right now!! I encourage each of you today to relax, take a deep breath (has Randall pointed out in a earlier coffee talk), and be glad. Because YOU are well pleasing to GOD!! No matter what mistakes/sins we have made and will make. He already knows these and He is STILL pleased with us!! Just remember to have faith in Jesus and desire to please Him/seek after Him with all your heart. Which I believe everyone on this message board are doing!! Thank You Jesus!!
