Friday Coffee Talk

WOO HOO! It's Friday! High School Football starts tonight and I get to see Torey start his senior year of marching band and Allison starts her 1st year of marching band. I can't wait! What do you have planned for the weekend? Our challenge today is to have a "you" day. Sometimes its ok to have a ''you'' day. Buy yourself your favorite lunch. Do something nice for YOU! YOU deserve it! We do and do for our families, our boses, our spouses, our co-workers, so now it's time for YOU! C'mon, go do something nice for yourself today! So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? I'm sipping on more regular Maxwell House today. Love the flavored stuff, no doubt, but I just get on my kick of wanting the regular joe! I love you guys and pray you have the best day of YOUR life! Hey Randall! We started our high school football last night. It was the 1A Swee****er Bulldogs against the 4A Thomasville Tigers (AL of course) and our little Swee****er Bulldogs beat those Tigers 27 to 13!!! We had such a good time. My eldest daughter is also in the band so we got to see her march and they did a great job! I'm so very proud of all of them. Anyway, I've already had my coffee with splenda and creamer. HEY Shel! I had NO idea you were SO CLOSE!! WOO HOO!! CONGRATULATIONS on the win! Isn't it wonderful! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Friday night football and watching my babies on that field! They did so good last night. Although we lost 19-18, it was a good game and the band did wonderful. You should really try to come to the Luverne WLS Reunion on September 28th. We have a ball! OH Randall, I love Friday night HS football. It is absolutely the best. I played trumpet in the marching band and loved every minute of it!!!! What wonderful memories. It's bad news for me, but Ron's will be closed over the holiday weekend. Guess I'll just have to make my own cafe con leche. Alma's sister is visiting from Columbia....she recently lost her husband. The cruise job was "just not me" so I am back working at the school job. They called me and they are really trying to work out all issues that I had before. It will be a good employ while I am working on my BSN. My summer will be free to explore medical missions to participate in....God is good. My two oldest children are in this weekend with their families. It's wonderful! Randall, I hope you have an absolutely great extended weekend. I know family is important to you too. Good morning my friend! I DO love Friday night football. I too played the trumpet and loved every second! Torey plays trumpet and Allison plays flute. They did so good last night. I can't say that I blame you for not going back to the school job. When one job isn't for ya, it just isn't. Been there, done that. LOL Have fun with your family this weekend Sunny.
