Daily Prayer Requests 16th 2007
Good am all,
Let us pray for this beautiful day. The temp is supposed to be VERY warm here in Richmond today. I personally LOVE it but for my girls and others Asthma is not so friendly at times when the heat is high. Thankfully we've got some "cool" activities planned. Many prayers for all of you here who are struggling personally and friends and family who are as well. I hope that everyone is finding comfort in the Lord.
Have a great Thursday!
Kat
Good Morning Kat,
My asthma seems to be acting up this morning. It is very humid here in the Phladelphia area.
My prayer requests are for my son, Sean, as he prepares to quit his job and go back to college full time. Also, for my cousin, Deb, who is suffering from bipolar disorder and has been refusing to take her meds believing she is healed by God. She endangered her mother this past weekend, and assaulted her boyfriend.
Thanks,
Trish
Good morning Kat and everyone! I've been MIA for a while now. We finally got moved to Thomasville, AL and finally got back on the internet. We are renting a house from Paul's boss for now. It is actually a new house that he is trying to sale but he is letting us live in it for a few months until we figure out what we are doing. We were hoping to buy but are not having any luck with a loan right now. So, please keep us in your prayers. Pray that Scott will figure out what he wants Paul doing in this job. I do not think Paul is happy in this job mainly because he does not have a job description and he isn't making what he used to or what Scott told him he would be making. Please keep our finances in your prayers. I'm trying to be very frugal.
The girls seem to be doing okay in their new school. They have a lot of homework (7th and 9th grades) but have made friends and are doing good so far. Kat is in the band and the band director is working them hard. Please continue to pray for them.
Momma is doing good. They saved her right eye. She did have to have surgery on it. The retina became detached but she is doing good. Her platelet count is slowly coming up and I think her immune system is doing somewhat better. Her hair is finally starting to grow back. Please continue to pray for her.
Now for some personal prayers. Ya'll my relationship isn't where it should be with the Lord. I don't know how to describe it. I've been through so much this year with Paul's job (finances) and my mom's cancer and although I have been hanging onto God and my faith, I feel like my faith is faltering (if that makes sense). Please keep me in your prayers. I need them so very badly right now. As a matter of fact, Paul and I both do because even though we haven't talked about it, I think he feels the same way.
Thanks!!
Shel
