Monday is the day!!!!!

Good morning everyone, I haven't been around much lately because I have been busy trying to get things in place for my surgery. Well, Monday is the day! I am scheduled for 7:30 a.m. and have to be at the hospital at 6 a.m., please keep me in your prayers. If you want to pray specifically for me these are my concerns: 1. Pray that Dr. Katz will be filled with the wisdom of God as he is perfoming my surgery. 2. Pray that Dr. Katz will take his time to make sure everything is done right. 3. Pray against any complications that would arise to prevent me from being able to be banded. 4. Pray for the anesthiseologist (sp?) to have wisdom on how much medicine to give me. 5. Pray for all of those that will be assiting Dr. Katz. 6. Pray for all of the instruments used to be clean & sterile. 7. Pray against infection & blood clots 8. Pray for my recovery to be quick & uneventful. 9. Pray that I will make the mental adjustments necessary concerning how I view food. 10. Pray for the band that they will use on me that it will not malfunction or have any defects, that it will not slip, pray against erosion, port flippage or any other type of "band" related complications. 11. That I will be successful at losing the weight and that I will follow the "band" rules! 12. Pray that God will dispatch his angels concerning me in the OR. Well, as you can tell, I have a lot on my mind, but know that I have a peace from God about this surgery, my spirit is at peace, I am just trying to get my flesh to line up!!!! WooHoo I'm so excited for you! This is going to be such a great adventure. You'll do just awesome. I finally got all my paperwork together and hand delivered it to the insurance co-ordinator so hopefully I'll be right behind you on the losers bench. Will be keeping you in prayer. Karen

I just sent prayers up for you. Than ole flesh just doesnt like to get in line sometimes, but God knew that so He sent us that Peace and you will go in feeling His arms around you. Hugs-Amy
