Good am all, Seems like there has been some very happy/good news for some of our members in recent days. A new grandbaby for Luvitsunny, Trish H coming through surgery, Trish R's avoidance of "death by chocolate" and her bright spot in the money woes dept along with some others who are praising God for their many blessings. I too and saying God I am blessed. I have some great friends who just when I need them they seem to know it without me even saying a word. The power of prayer is so important and meaningful. Let us raise one another up in prayer! Lena????? Girl where are you? Do I gotta send out a search party? I read something off my daily calendar that I thought was fitting to pass along this am. Prayer is asking for rain. Faith is carrying an umbrella. Much hugs, love and prayers to all, Kat

Hey Kat, I am here...you know I lurk daily!!! Well girl let me tell you that the Lord is really doing his 'thang' on me. All of my burdens and sadness I have told you about have been lifted. Not sure why...things are not really better...well maybe a bit. I am trying to learn that just because things are not going the way I hoped does not mean they are going wrong! So today I am thankful that God has lightened the load in my heart. I am less worrisome, smile more, and even put some make up on this morning!!!

Hey Lena! Good to hear from you! The Lord is always doing his "thang" on us. We tend to focus on things when they are going crappy more often than when they are peachy. Each day there are many positives to speak of even in the face of the negatives. Why you ask? Because you are finally giving things to God and really letting him in your heart and life and he is opening your eyes and loving unconditionally like only he can. I'm making a point (choice) each day to smile several times. Gotta do it! Hugs to you...keep your chin up and hit the knees! Kat

Good Morning Kat, I still do not know what the insurance company will give me for my totaled car. I need to replace it, and would really, really, really like to replace it with a car the same age as the one I totaled. Also, continue to pray for my back, as it still hurts. I am also having panic attacks almost daily now, since the accident. Hugs, Trish

Hiya Trish, I will keep you in my prayers that the insurance company will give you wonderful news and you will be on your way to getting another vehicle without massive costs involved. Hope your back starts feeling better. As for the panic attacks I would suggest you talk with your doc. I've suffered from them for several years and light meds have truly helped. I'm not a pill gal mind you but at times it does help take the edge off. Keep us posted. Prayers and hugs coming your way.... Kat

Please keep me in your prayers as I go to the doctor today at 1 for my shoulder and that they can do something for it. I cannot raise my arm all the way only about half of the way. The only way I can withstand the pain is with pain meds but cannot use it when I work or need to drive. I pray that everyone gets over their sickness and gets well and on the road to recovery.

Wow! Really great news for so many people. Well here are my prayers for the day - kind of the usual ones, with a few extra thrown in. Continued prayer for Jordan as he struggles to quit smoking and study. Continued prayer for my husband Martin with his job. He is doing great, but he suffers from ongoing back problems so I just always try to cover him with prayer. New prayer - I reached out to my sister via her daughter. My sister is Mary and she is now living in Arkansas near her daughter. Mary is bipolar and quite an interesting and challenging person to be around. Just lift her up to know the Lord. Also to cover Jenna in the same prayer. I love my sister and niece, but have had to distance myself over the years due to the problems of my sister with drugs. Now that my kids are raised and gone I feel lead to reach out to Mary. Pray for that door to open. Praying for you all today. Sally

Hiya Sally, Prayers coming your way for Jordan and Martin. Hope things get better for both. I myself am Bipolar and it isn't easy at times but I've got an amazing support system in place. I do pray the doors to your sister open even more and your relationship becomes better and healthier in time. Kat
