Verse for the Day August 6

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Lord, We call on you to do great and mighty things in each of our lives today. We leave it up to you what to do, we know you are wise and wonderful. Give us all the ability to see your great works and turn the praise and glory over to you. Amen.

Yahooooo!! That verse was given to me for my daughter Katie now 14 when I was trying to get pregnant and it took 22 years to finally see the answer to that prayer but when she was born I went to a church craft fair and they had a table with Baby Name Plaques and on Katie's name was this verse! I knew it was the Lord reminding me that I had trusted Him enough to call upon Him as my only answer to this desire to have another child when everyone else told me to give up that maybe after all these years it wasn't the Lord's will for me to have another child...even Christians...yet I could not stop praying. Sometimes we need to press in even when everyone else is saying let go. This goes for anything in life we are seeking the Lord for. I know I prayed that scripture for this WLS and He answered once again. He will sometimes say yes sometimes no and sometimes be still and wait. But He always answers and gives the grace to receive His answer. Thanks Sally...I am praying again for my house to sell and the move to Co. and will trust in Him and His timing.
