Daily Prayer Requests 6th August 2007

Good am all, I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Please say some prayers for me as I am going through some minor dental work later this week. In addition, prayers for me with regard to some troubling times personally. Let us pray for one another and even those we don't know. Continued prayers for those who are pre-op, newly post-op and further out. May we continue to plug away at our journeys and reach our goals! Have a great day! Kat

Hi Kat, Thanks for praying for my mom. Please continue to pray for her. Also, please pray for my son's fiancee's bridal shower this evening. My ex's wife will be there, and while I am gracious to her, I am most uncomfortable with her, and his mom there. Also, please pray for me as I wait to here from the insurance company concerning my car accident. Oh, I almost forgot, I got a bill from the IRS for over$500 that I made a mistake on my taxes. I don't have $500 and I am in a panic trying to figure out how to pay it. Thanks, Trish

I am new here but I could use a few prayers this week. My husband has an eye disease (retinitis pigmentosa) it can be hereditary. We have a beautiful 9 month old baby girl. We have to take her in to the pediatric opthalmologist on Wed to see if they can see any signs of it in her. We're not sure if they'll be able to say yes or not to whether she has it or not yet. He is legally blind from it....just hoping they can tell she doesn't have it so my mind can be put at ease. It doesn't matter one way or another she's still a wonderful blessing. Thank you all very much.

I have a grown daughter with RP and she also is condsidered legally blind altho she does still have some sight. She has a 1 year old boy and also agonizes over whether she passed this on to him. She is involved with a research study where they implanted a micro chip in one eye to see if it helps her vision. I don't know if they can tell anything until they are older. Hers didn't start until she was a teenager. Seems like she had more than her share of car accidents and it turned out that is why because she didn't have that peripheral vision. I'll pray for your situation and that the scientists can come up with a treatment if not a cure. Karen

Thank you so much. It's nice to hear from someone else in a similar situation. My husband does have quite a bit of sight left...just no peripheral or night vision. He no longer drives either. He lives a full life and deals well with it so we hope that if it was passed on to our daughter she will grow to do the same. My husband knew he had this when he was a child but it didn't get real difficult for him until he was older. He did have his driver's license until about 10 yrs ago and he's now 35. Michelle

Please pray for that we are able to rent studio apartment (in our home). Let it be the one God wants to reside in our home. Pray for Luke and Wendy (my son and his wife) as they travel on there much needed vacation. Pray for my husband that he be successful in his work today and that I will get the job that God has for me. Love to you all. Sally
