I have had pain in my stomach and cramps in my intestines for about 3 days. It doesn't hurt upon waking up, but as soon as I had milk and my morning medication, my tummy started hurting. Any ideas anyone. Thanks, Kim M.

Talk to your surgeon. It could be the meds, or you could be lactose intolerant. Your doc would know best what is going on. I will pray for you in the meantime. Hugs, Trish

Thanks Trish, biggest problem is that I need to locate a new surgeon. My surgeon and hospital has closed. Kim M.

It is very possible that it is the milk. It is not uncommon for WLS surgery patients not be able to tolerate milk. I drank it for the first several months, the one day out of nowhere I was sooo sick. Have not tried it again since. It takes some getting used to, but you can try soy milk? Just a thought. I sometimes use vanilla soy on cereal. hope you feel better soon. ~ Terisa

Thanks Terisa for the milk idea. You just never know with our surgery what will effect you. I haven't tried soy, but I will give it a whirl. Kim M.

Hello Kim I will pray for you but just a thought...I had terrible tummy today and have been constipated....and finally after about one hour I finally was given some relief...milk will tear me up with pain. Hope you feel better soon but if not you need to call surgeon even if not one you are used to. Intestines can get a kink...so do not mess with pain. Love ya Girl...Joan
