Thursday Coffee Talk
Good Thursday morning my friends. Time to rise and shine. Gotta spray them pits and eat them grits. HEHEHE Couldn't help myself. Gotta get ready for the best day of our lives.
Our challenge for today is to not focus on just YOU! It's not all about you. Your life includes others around you. Focus on them and what they may need. Sure, our life "is" about us basically, but if we focus on ourselves too much, we become selfish and self centered and others find us annoying and shy away. Focus on your co-workers a little. Focus on your spouse more, your kids more, your family members more, your friends more. What do they need? Listen to what they have to say and focus on them a little bit. Focusing on others draws friends and family and they will appreciate you more.
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? The flavor of the day is just plain old Maxwell House. Sometimes, the unflavored coffee is just TOO good not to sip on! SOOO Good! How bout you? What cha sipping?
I pray all of you go out and make this Thursday, the best day of your life, focusing on someone around you.
Randall
Amen on the just plain old coffee...I am drinking Aldi's Brand of Decaf w/SF Vanilla creamer and Sweet and Low.
I want to bless my daughter today and focus on her. She has sore throat and we are getting ready to start our new school year (homeschool) and this is her last day at volunteering at our library so I want her to know how much I love her and how I appreciate who she is and who she is in Christ.
Have a great day.

Good Morning Randall,
Max Lucado has a really good book out called, "It's Not About Me." When we serve others, we are ultimately serving the Lord.
I am hoping to see my family doctor this morning because of the car accident I was in on Tuesday. I really hurt my back and neck.
I am sipping on my diet, iced green tea. I will be making a pot of coffee later.
Have a blessed day.
Trish
Good afternoon Randall....
Funny, I don't usually eat a "real food" for breakfast, I did have some great grits this morning, though. I'm on an antibiotic which requires the pill to be taken w/food.....so I had to eat. Carnival makes GOOD grits! I can't get in to that habit.
You know, of course, that it was only AFTER my cafe con leches from Ron's Cuban.
Next week I have conference all week...earn about 45 CEU's which is great. I get to meet and listen to all the ships doctors, nurses, etc. I'm sure it will be interesting. The next week, then, I guess I start taking the infirmiry/debark calls. Keep me in your prayers.
.....as I do you, my friend.
