I'm approved...I'm approved...Praise God!!!!!!!!!

Hello Family, As I was sitting here reading the posts for today, I just received a call from my surgeons office and I have been approved for surgery!!!!! My surgery date is August 13th , I have so many different emotions right now, but I am so grateful to God that he saw fit to give me this wonderful opportunity for a healthier life!!!! Please pray that God will strengthen me to get through this 14 day pre op diet. I need to have all the saints praying for me!!!! Praise God! Praise God! Praise God!

Congatulations!!!! You must be just tickled to death. Pray all goes wonderful for you. I'm STILL trying to get the paperwork together for 5 year diet history. I know it's there and where it is I just can't get anybody to co-operate. I'm getting sooo frustrated because that's all I need to send in to insurance. I guess there must be a reason, it just gets harder to wait the longer it goes on. But I wander.This is about you and your triumph and I'm truely happy you are OK'd and on your way! Karen

Karen, Thanks for the well wishes. I pray that all will go well with you and your approval for surgery. I am learning to trust God in everything that I do, so I just want to encourage you to keep the faith and if things are not working out in your timeframe just know that God doesn't operate on our timetable, but his timetable is perfect! Be encouraged !

Thanks for the encouragement. I know the Lord must have a reason. I think I'm just getting frustrated because it's coming up on a year since I started working on all this. I have to remember how much I've accomplished and not what isn't done yet. I'm sure my time will come soon enough. Thanks again. Karen

Ptl is right donna --congrats on your surgery date and approval. I had my RNY on 2/6/07 and it was the best thing I ever did for me. I am so happy for you. God has already answered your prayer for strength because he never gives what we can not handle. You would not be approved if God did not wish for this to happen. Enjoy the ride and give the glory to the one who answers our hearts desires. Love Sally
