Thursday Coffee Talk
Good Thursday morning everyone! Time to get up and at 'em. Hope you slept good. I know I did.
Our challenge today is to be thankful. No, it's not Thanksgiving, but then again, every day should be Thanksgiving. Being thankful for WLS. Thankful that you have the opportunity to pursue WLS. Thankful that you have lost weight and are able to do things you couldn't before WLS. Thankful that you are in smaller clothes. But most of all, THANKFULL THAT YOU ARE MORE HEALTHY THAN YOU HAVE EVER BEEN! I'm so thankful for my WLS, weight loss surgery. I would do this all over again in a heartbeat. To all of your who are awaiting approval, don't give up. Keep on keeping on. It is well worth it!
So, who's up? What cha sipping on? Me? The flavor of the day is that South Carolina Southern Pecan and the stuff is just WONDERFUL! What are you sipping on?
I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Thursday.
Randall
I totally agree Randall. Hubby and I went to a financial planner today....part of his company benefit. It just so happens he is in the office of the firm that manages my husband's company's benefits...... including the health insurance. Anyway, when it came to talking about health issues, etc., I was so happy to tell him "mine were resolved" after 5+ years of being on hypertensive medications, anti-depressants and medication for acid reflux. He wanted to know what brought about this change and I simply said.. ... losing 1/2 of me. And then told him about my weight loss surgery. I praise the Lord for this tool....and you are right, I would do it all over again. My hairdresser asked me today if I missed the bread that I said I hadn't eaten in almost four years. I can honestly say NO and mean it. I pray every day for those of us who have had success in our surgeries, those undergoing surgery for that day, those that may be experiencing doubts and yes, complications and those who so desperately need WLS and can't find the financial means to do so.
Anyway, didn't mean to get on a soap box. I just simply thank God every day for this tool and have committed to His leading in all the new opportunities that He introduces me too.
Bless you Randall.
